About Your Order

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping within the United States is free on all orders in my web store! For commissioned work, shipping charges will be added before delivery of your piece. If you live outside the US, contact me and we can take care or your order together. Generally, your shipping charge will the difference between the cost of shipping domestically and the cost of shipping to your location outside the US.

How long will it take to ship my order?

For in-stock orders within the US, expect your items to arrive within 5–10 days. Note that some prints are made-to-order and will require additional time for production prior to shipping! Original artwork and rope art may also require additional shipping time, since I personally package each shipment and take extra care with my originals to make sure they arrive safely!

Can I pay for rush shipping?

Sorry, I am unable to do rush shipping at this time! Please keep this in mind if you are purchasing gifts or need your order to arrive before a certain date.

Can you deliver, or can I pick up my order in person?

If you happen to live in Bozeman, yes! Contact me if you’re interested in meeting locally; I love meeting my patrons and would be pleased to thank you personally for your order.

How will my order be shipped?

I don’t have a team of employees to help with packaging, shipping or orders; I do it all myself! Paper goods such as prints, cards, and some originals will be packaged inside a clear plastic sleeve and sandwiched between recycled cardboard backing. Originals on wood or other products are carefully wrapped in plastic and heavily padded with recycled paper. I reuse a lot of shipping materials; it’s likely that the bubble mailer/envelope/box that I send your order in is already an experienced traveler. I provide tracking numbers for all shipped orders except stickers.

What do I do if there’s a problem with my order?

If your print has arrived with damage from shipping, let me know and I will do my best to replace it. For damaged prints, you’ll have to pay to send back the old one, but after I receive the returned print I can replace it for you. Sorry, I am unable to make exchanges or process returns at this time!

Commissioned Work

Are you currently taking commissions?

At the moment, my commissions are CLOSED.

While commissions are open: If you’ve got an idea, feel free to get ahold of me via my Contact page, email, or through social media. We can discuss your project before committing to anything, but have an idea of what you’d like, your budget, and your timeline before reaching out.

What kind of commissions will you accept?

I can accept commissions for custom paintings, logos, and illustration. In case you’re wondering—yes, “illustration” means that I will accept limited inquiries about tattoo design. I’ve painted on everything from huge canvases to water bottles to ceiling tiles. I’d love to hear your idea!

How do I commission custom work?

The first step is to reach out via my Contact page! After we discuss your project and agree on deliverables, I’ll send you a quote and work contract. I require a deposit and signed contract before beginning any work, including preliminary sketches. We’ll discuss payment and deadlines to figure out the option that works best for you.

Do you want to collaborate, or can I purchase a license to your work?

I am willing to allow licensed usage of my artwork, but l retain the rights to all imagery created for or licensed by collaborative projects. Send me an email or use my Contact form if there’s a piece you’re interested in using, or if you’d like to commission a custom artwork for your project.

Process

What kind of art do you make?

While I am primarily a watercolor/ink landscape painter, I also enjoy mixing medias and playing with acrylic paint, gold leaf, and wood. I like to incorporate hand-made elements into my digital work as well. Living in the mountain west, my work reflects the wild places and formations that I love most. My intricate, colorful style translates well to crafting wall hangings and rugs out of rope (which, as a climber, I happen to have a lot of). See my Gallery and About pages for more!

Are your prints archival quality?

Yes! I use an off-site printing service to make reproduction giclee prints of select artworks. Giclee prints are associated with higher quality with more accurate colors that last for many years if stored properly. Some prints which I don’t have in stock are made-to-order, and will require extra time to arrive. Each print is also signed by yours truly!

Where can I see your art?

For those who wish to see my work in person, I try to keep my social media followers in the know about where my work is currently being displayed. I also usually have several ongoing collaborative projects with outdoor companies which feature my artwork (currently: Gilson Snow, the Access Fund, and Sunday Afternoons Hats). Check out my Facebook or Instagram pages for updates.
